Combat Trooper "Vibro Blades"/ Knives

Name: TR 212th CBTT CSM wicked

Suggestion: Add Vibroblade and or a Knife to the Combat Trooper classes

Implementation: Add the Knife weapon under the "M9K Specialties" titled as either a Knife or just a Vibroblade, this suggestion is for both Knives or Vibroblades, depending on which     one of the suit the suggestion in the eyes of the developers viewing this. The Combat troopers in most of the regiments are very underwhelming and are usually quite low on numbers in most battalions. A melee could add more exclusivity to the Combat Troopers, therefore increasing the intrest in it and adding more diversity to the battlfield.

02/24/2018 EDIT: after further looking I noticed that most of the Battalions Don't have a Combat Trooper. With that said I have constructed a list for the different "equivalents" In other battalions: Galactic Marines: Assault Trooper

41st Green Company: Scout Trooper

104th: ARF Trooper

Rancor Battalion: ARF Support Trooper

 

I want to take this opportunity and say this: This suggestion was meant to encourage  diversity within the ranks of different battalions and allow more combat option in order to increase the overall server experience.

eh. +1 it might be cool.  but CBT tryouts are gonna have to be alot more difficult.  im not having fucking minges running around my battalion shanking people

-1, No lore of a CBT using them. Actually the only troopers we've seen use knives were Commandos in the game Star Wars: Republic Commando. Can the knife requests stop coming in from E V E R Y O T H E R B A T T A L I O N

You wouldn't really see a random 212th Combat Trooper carrying a knife, it truly makes no sense at all. I understand if it was the SOBDE Regiment, or maybe the 41st since they were camoed and had knives.

neutral becuz the combat trooper should be able to do hand to hand combat but it will not matter for fighting against droids.

-1 I mean by lore probably most clones would carry some sort of concealed combat knife but that won't happen cause it's mingey and vibro blades were extremely expensive to make considering they were built with cortosis covering them to be able to block lightsabers only null,rc and specialized assissns would be able to have them.

It's not really that.  CBT troopers are equipped for close quarter combat.. the knife would be just another side arm to grab.  But i get where you all are coming.  Js that's the main reason for the suggestion.

-1,  Not needed. If the GM wants them to have it, He can spawn it. It also if ever used would be rarely used

Since It seems like I have caused some confusion, the intended idea was for all of the combat trooper classes and it's equivalents in different battalions.
