Zynth Posted May 27 Veteran Admin Posted May 27 Name: Zynth RP Rank: BCMD Suggestion: Create a modified CQC/SMG version of the dual DC-17s, similar to the ones Fordo used, and add them to all Null whitelists. Implementation: Re-use or edit the current DC-17 pistols found in the armory, balance them out to make the store-version still stronger viable and as to not take away from current or future buyers, and add them to all Null and potentially Alpha whitelists. Reasoning: Null has struggled with a solid CQC weapon, and while the Westar is a multi-tool, it's nice to have a close-quarters alternative. The weapon would have low damage, poor accuracy, and substantial damage falloff, but with a very high rate of fire to balance it out. It would primarily be used as a CQC/urban weapon for the flexibility of the kit. We are very open to this getting added to Alpha-ARCs as well if it were to be approved for development. Null and I have no intention of gatekeeping it from them. Lore: "Of the Republic clone troopers who used the blaster during the Clone Wars, high-ranking commanders, captains, and ARC troopers were all users. During the conflict, ARC troopers, as well as other special forces units like Clone Force 99 within the Special Operations Brigade, used the DC-17 for close-quarters fighting and as a backup weapon."
