Ok thank you. Jedi just arent jedi with the current system, i dont care if its more skill based or not, i feel stupid af running around looking at the ground and not being able to deflect bullets. Just absorbing them with our bodies is super unrealistic. To put it in overwatch terms, we are more like Reinhardt rn when we should be more like genji. Realism is just so much better than skill based cancer rhino fighting. Maybe if we got that stamina system and blocking worked better you would be happier?

Restricting certain things to certain battalions is how you make those battalions havemore pull to new recruits and ultimately make the server more realistic. Im all for restricting things based on battalion,rank, and lore. We need less swiss army knife clones and that just isnt going to happen with the current weapon and equipment system. Also heres this

You miss my point, I understand giving all the padawans and knights that sort of power would be insane. Since no one playing is actually in tune with the force you would just be taking commands from a bunch of 10-16 year olds with little to no experience. The point I was trying to make was that even if we arent following lore on the server, padawans and knights shouldnt have to answer to anyone but their masters. Jedi shouldnt boss clones around unless they are in a position to do so (like Anakin with the 501st) and the clones shouldnt boss Jedi around (Thats not to say they cant ask a padawan to leave IR because only knights are allowed in but dont treat padawans like TR3s and order them around unless you are a Jedi in the order). Theres bending lore, and then theres breaking it outright.

The only time I give the person what they want is if they have something or someone important hostage. Any other situation and they are negotiating for their lives, literally. Also who do RC have permission to order around, do you know?

Nothing triggered me more as a jedi consular than how RC and other elites conducted "Interrogations" on icefuse . Sometimes they did ok, but more times than not RC screamed at them and then shot them, before we actually got any information out of them. And the RC always got mad at me too, ordered me to leave and saying that I was the one screwing up interrogations. No has answered the question btw. Who has to listen to RC and Null orders and who doesnt?

So you dont think a system where instead of getting three rockets, you can fire one rocket then have to wait 45 seconds or so to fire another one would be a good system?

Seems better than ammo spawning in out of no where. Not to mention there is no way to get special ammo for like rockets and flamethrowers

You cant ruin immersion if you dont have any immersion to begin with. Making the argument that people would abuse it is like saying I could die from a car crash so I shouldn't ride in a car. Just dont give it to people who would abuse it! Make it so battalion commanders and high ranking Jedi only are allowed to use them but to outright deny stuff because people will minge with it is just going to hold the server back. Tell you what, lets remove all guns from the server because people abuse them so much, or better yet, lets remove all people from the server because people minge and God help us if a person minges! The server would have to be shut down to protect everyone's delicate immersion! You cant protect immersion by taking everything that could potentially be abused away. We truly need a handcuff addon and more importantly a way to get rid of the /me system. I understand doing the "/me does a thing" for actions you cant perform because gmod just doesnt have the capability, but restraining someone needs to be more than just a something you type in chat(especially since it is something that can be done with existing addons). It needs to be clear to both the person who is stripped of their weapons and cuffed as well as the people around them, that this person is contained and no longer a threat.This way you wont have trigger happy clones or jedi attacking a cuffed individual because they didnt know that person was cuffed, and, more importantly, the cuffed person wont suddenly "free themselves", magically regain their weapons, and go on another killing spree. The less /me stuff we need to do the better because the current /me options are just not manageable or realistic. Instead of /roll deciding if an engine is operable, let the engineers have a way to actually repair the engine and find a way to make the engine take actual damage. That is how you boost role play and make people feel more immersed. This isnt DnD; with a video game like gmod on our side we dont have to rely on verbal or written statements to perform actions for everything. The only interactive things people are capable of currently are medics healing and engineers using their repair tools to fix vehicles(rarely ever happens). Everyone else either shoots, talks, or rps through chat. Make it so people can interact with the word rather than wait around and hope the world interacts with them. Sorry for the rant this was just going to be a small thing about handcuffs but it kinda got outta hand... pun intended.

Dont make it cost more! It needs that nerf! It can take out a max health,armor jedi in 5 seconds.

You get what you earn, those weapons provide a decent advantage over the starter weapons and their prices arent at all unreasonable, play more or get a higher paying job.
