  1. +1 Not a GM but this would be awesome to play on.
  2. Okay, now thats clarified. Why does this rule exsist if "all comms are secure". Just implement a rule that says All comms are secure unless *OC / [open comms] or any other variant is put in the comms sentence. And if any defect acts upon it then beaned them.
  3. That rule kinda exists my guy. If you see an event job say something in [Secure Comms] (-SC-*SC*, etc) and act upon that, you can be punished Respawn -> Kick/Arrest -> Ban. Literally ripped from the updated rules. But I also see what you mean, personnally i feel there is a lot of confusion with the Secure comms rules and i was going to make a post myself talking about it. So, by the definition of this rule (shown above) anyone who doesn't put *SC* / [Secure comms] or any other variant is essentially speaking openly. I.e. people can see it, so people can act upon it. For example, If a CIS general puts in Comms with NO *SC* That he is attacking Alpha outpost or downloading data. Then clones can act upon that statement Right? Or would i have to "hack" into their communication systems/devices to see what their saying? But If I was to suddenly hack into there comms wouldn't that be seen as metagaming? Because i've saw something that peaks my interest / or affects the Republic negatively and then all of a sudden I decide to hack their comms out of the blue? *EDIT* I understand this rule talks about event Jobs, But then what about Sith etc. Because every now and again they do switch between normal comms and then having *SC* in it. (As does everyone tbh) Also I feel that if this SC rule is for Event Jobs then it also applies to clones and SIth a like. If SC is in there comms than you can't act upon it. But people say all comms are secure so whats the point of having this rule for Event Jobs then if "all comms are secure"? A really confusing situation. Can someone clarify this in the comments. As this really effects everyone. Thanks.
  4. +1 more health for the win
  5. Just saying the Sith, in some cases, go through the tunnel next to Bravo Outpost which leads to the Clones who are stationed there. Giving both parties no choice but to interact with each other. I can't speak for everyone when I say this but, Clone don't always intervene. I know this from personal experience. I think it was a couple of days ago when a group of like 6 or 7 Sith came to Alpha Outpost when Rancor was Stationed there and the Jedi had to come and help us out. So I think its a little unfair to say that "Clone always intervene" because sometimes that just isn't the case. Also I would just like to add to my earlier post as well. And before I say this I just want people to know that I personally don't know why the Sith were added and all that good stuff. But it feels like the Sith weren't added to JUST interact with the Jedi. But to bring new and refreshing RP into the server for everyone. You could argue that Sith Troopers would do the same, and to be honest you wouldn't be wrong, but it would split up battalions and possibly kill ones that are struggling to get good numbers from day to day consistently. For my other points on the Subject you can refer to my previous point, I won't repeat them here.
  6. On paper this sounds like a cool idea, but in practice it just doesn't work for reasons that have been stated above: They're discount 187th / DU / Shock / whatever else Too many regiments / battalions already. But I think that everyone misses the point that this post has brought to my attention. Personally, i believe its up to every trooper / battalion to guard the base and maintain its security. If not everyone then at least Shock, which I have seen them do from time to time, because its kind of their thing to guard things etc. But more importantly, I'm pretty sure there is a document or sheet out there that has all the battalions down for a certain time per day to man either the base defences (walls etc.), Alpha outpost, Bravo outpost as well as just general patrolling. (I know that 104th and Rancor have this document but i'm not sure about the other battalions.) So an easy fix for this would be to just follow the schedule provided as closely as possible. But this would have to be enforced by BCMD+ in every regiment / battalion. TL;DR: There are already Battalions on the server that does the Job of the "15th Defence Core" *cough* Shock *cough* plus other Battalions can do the Job of the suggested Battalion. There is no need for it. Sorry Chief, but its a -1 from me
  7. This has to be a meme... please tell this is a meme But if its serious ---> Are we transitioning into Old Republic (SWTOR) RP now? Thought this was Clone Wars.... strange. Already the Sith and how they work "RuInS mY ImMeRiOn" as the Clone Wars takes place after Darth Bane and the introduction of the Rule of Two for the Sith, which i believe happened around 1000 BBY - 990 BBY . (Just FYI my lore and overall knowledge is rusty and shouldn't be taken seriously, I recommend you do your own research). But i see why its run that way, for the overall enjoyment of playing as a Sith on the server and adding variety to the server. TLDR: Adding a "Sith Trooper" would be just tightening the noose around my neck tbh -Crab Rave- Big old -1 from me chief ❤️
  8. -1 I find the majority of the models to be an eye sore. the only ones that i find somewhat interesting is the 5th picture, 7th and 8th. Those are the only ones. - CG Hound / Anderson
  9. I'm going to stay neutral. I've read all the comments so far and both sides bring up valid points. I feel like if the Senators were actually online the SC could show their potential of being a decent battalion. So i feel like the issue doesn't lie with SC but with the inactive senators. True, SC does help out when they're hardly any CG on, which does help a lot on some days when the server gets filled with minges. However, CG wouldn't and doesn't have a problem with protecting both Naval and Senators. We would simply prioritise between who we need to protect and who we don't. Or simply split up the battalion in events to protect both naval and the senators (which we majority of the time do anyways to protect multiple groups of naval). Furthermore, I don't see many of you guys on unfortunately and when they're senators on i only see around 2-5 of you guys. What I think should happen is that we should get some more active Senators and see how SC do. If they start to prosper then fine, keep them. I don't have an issue with keeping SC. However, if we get active senators and SC are hardly on and CG have to do they're Job then they'll sadly have to be removed. While in my personal opinion i don't understand why those in SC now didn't just join CG if they wanted to protect Senators and other VIPs. However, right now i don't feel like its fair to judge SC when they can't even do the job they are designed to do! - CG Hound / Anderson
