Simultaneously, a skilled hacker breaches Republic defenses, prompting a counter-hacking team to slow down the attack. The battle intensifies, with Republic forces pushed back into the base, facing a detached droid force attempting to seize control of the Base Command Center (BCC). As the counter-hackers thwart the attacker's progress, the munificents retreat. In part two, the hacker, known as Cipher, is located, leading to a Republic mission to apprehend him. Amidst a tense battle through Onderan's terrain, Cipher sets up defenses. While Republic forces capture Cipher, a diversion involving cloaked commando droids allows another group to infiltrate the BCC and complete a data transfer. The hacker is taken to the brig, playing dumb during interrogation. Simultaneously, the cloaked units attempt to destroy the base, but their plans are thwarted. Despite the successful capture of Cipher, the Republic suffers a strategic loss as valuable data is stolen, leaving a lingering threat.
