You install Bastion VPN. You log into Bastion VPN. You click CONNECT and your internet connection is automatically tunneled through a VPN server, thus hiding your real IP address. This means that no one can determine where you live solely based off your IP address, or DDoS your home internet connection.

Hey guys, I spoke with Joah about this and he sort of agreed it would be a good idea. I've been working on a project for some time now with a development team which is now progressing towards a large-scale test. It is a no-logs, consumer VPN which will be targeted primarily towards PC gamers. The advantage to using our platform over others is that the VPN servers use bandwidth carriers optimized for gaming (predominantly Internap Performance IP) to minimize ping increase. This is some sort of a niche market, but if you're unfamiliar with these types of VPNs, some of benefits for you gamers are as follows: Hide your real IP/location from server admins (Joah, Corvezeo, me, Jek, etc.) I personally don't play on any player-operated game servers without the use of a VPN anymore. Forces IPv4 Encrypted connection hides activity from your ISP/Government Fully DDoS protected with fail-over servers Encrypts your connection if on a public wifi network and SSL is not being used Here's a screenshot of the current interface (IP redacted): For now, it's just a Windows desktop application. I'm looking for some testers to do some serious testing involving: Trying to break the software itself/induce errors Playing different types of games on our different server endpoints Streaming YouTube, Twitch, etc to test network capabilities For the more technically advanced, As part of being a tester, you'll receive: Access to use the tool in the interim at no cost (testing period is undetermined) Ability to purchase a 6 month/lifetime subscription at 50% off once launched If you are interested, please send me a PM with the title: "Bastion Testing". Posting here to gather some feedback from you all. I'd like to see a statistics system implemented which would allow you to view your own and others' stats both from within game and from a web page online which would showcase: - Playtime (per side) - Kills and deaths (and the ratio) - Favorite weapon - "Score" value calculated from above This would allow for people to inspect their own, and view the top players on the server.

Greetings, I will keep this short and sweet. It's been a pleasure working with the guys here at Synergy for these past 10-11 months. The level of success this community has had to date truly is remarkable; talking player numbers, organization and all. I have decided for my own reasons which I won't dive into. Most of you don't know who the fuck I am (tech guy, founder, guy who hides behind the curtains??), but that's okay -- I'd like to say goodbye anyway. I wish you all and the server(s) all the best.
