Event Name: Mining Colony

Summary of the story: The republic jumped into an asteroid field, and found a mining colony on an asteroid. The base had strong AA guns, given to the trandoshans by the Hutt Clan. 

What was the result of the event?: Base destroyed,  Prisoner Executed.

Was this more of a role play oriented or "shoot em up" oriented event: Shoot em up

That's because it wasn't even meant to be an event. It was supposed to be a small sim, but more people noticed the asteroid and involved themselves. Didn't have any event jobs or GH, wasn't trying to do an event but it just happened.

Figured it was better to turn it into a mini event for some more people, than to cancel it for everybody.

Light saber rifle made some of the troops unhappy I thought it was reasonable it being a GIANT TURBOLASER. It was fun and even though it was a fairly rushed event and pretty much focused on the people flight training I appreciate you giving the pilots some combat experience.
