Server problems

Whenever i load into gmod i dont see the server show up in the listings. even when i refresh or restart gmod it just wont show up.

Now whenever i actually get into the server by joining through the IP adress i have a problem with the gmod models. I float a foot up in the air and my characters upper torso will be bending down towards the ground and sometimes will phase in and out of existence until finally i just get kicked out of gmod entirely.

I dont know if this is the right forum to ask this question on but honestly im just wanting to post it somewhere. Cause honestly i dont want to have to quit the server because of this
