Errors with [SR] Content Pack and [SR] Weapons Pac

This is the type of stuff I've been seeing since yesterday. Some deeper research showed these packs were the culprit.

Any assistance would be great.

First instinct says to delete the addons and redownload them. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons and find the specific pack you need.

I have done this about 15-17 times already. Redownloaded Garry's Mod, Deleted them all and then redownloaded garry's mod then downloaded them, manually done it about 5 times. I don't think it's a client-sided issue since I get lua errors with 2 of the packs in Singleplayer as well.

can you make a list of all the stuff you've tried? That'd be a good place to start

Have you tried validating game files? Right click gmod, go to local files and validate game files

@Hudson Been getting these same errors. The only thing that is not working for me are weapon packs #1 and #2. Everything else like models and such are fine.

Before you ask me, well did you do this... trust me, I've tried literally everything. I have 8,000 hours in Garry's Mod and have ran into many problems in the past that I've remembered every step to take when trying to fix something.

I've tried uninstalling the 2 weapon packs and doing menu_cleanupgmas in console, after I deleted app_workshop4000 in my files and restarted Steam (for those who don't know, its the manual way to update an addon if it fails to update itself) and that didn't work.

Yeah, that's what's going on for me too. I don't think this is a clientsided issue then.

It shouldn't be. I've also noticed that the 2 weapon packs keep extracting whenever I open GMod. I've talked to an admin on the server and he has the same exact issue as me. I forgot his name, he's in 187th.

It really messes with my game. Most of the weapons that basic troopers use and the ones that most enemy NPCs carry huge errors around. So tell me, when you're stationed in the MHB looking down CY and see a bunch of ERROR, which do you shoot? When do you shoot? Do you shoot? That's why I've been basically unable to play my favorite game man. THis sucks.

I wasn't able to join either, I haven't been able to do anything I'd like to in a few days. I almost guarantee that it won't be fixed until it happens to someone more important than me though so yikes. *dab*

So i dont know if this is something you have on your Gmod but make sure you arent in Chromium or something like that, I used chromium because i would go on theater servers and after I switched it back to normal all my Errors were gone so i would try that If you dont know how to Close your game completely got to steam and right click gmod, go to properties and then to the last tab which is called betas and switch it from chromium or whatever you have it currently set to and place it to opt out or none, If this doesnt fix it or your game is already set to that then change it to the other settings until it possibly fixes. other then that I have tried almost everything and this is the only thing that has worked!

Okay, so for whatever reason, the 64 bit version of Gmod (which I love and hasn't caused me issues thus far) happens to run through Chromium so I opted out and it works now. Sorry for the issues folks.
