Summary of the story: several Massifs that had been infected with the rakghoul vorus were unleashed at slate by the CIS. several troops were attacked and given the disease, and ended up transmitting it to the base. The cis used this opportunity to attack hoping that the republic would be too disorganized to retaliate. they eventually purged both the CIS and Rakghoul virus from the base
