Summary of the story:

The Ewoks leader had recently become sick with heart disease not to mention he's super old. The Ewoks set out to get the republic to help to save their leader. 

What was the result of the event?:

The leader had succumbed to his heart disease and the Ewoks mourned the loss. However, an unexpected hunter had arrived looking for the Old Ewok leaders pelt to sell on the black market. He was quickly turned away by a Jedi who used a mind trick on him to change his way of life. The Ewoks returned to the village to start anew grateful for the service of the republic and glad they are so close by.
