  1. Clorox, I remember getting you into a picture for the 91st as Recon Reg. I hope we can get a picture ourselves, to sort of pay homage to times passed.

Your application was a lot like you, short and sweet. And I think it really ties together the reasons that make you a good leader. You make your voice heard, you hear other voices, and you create lasting memories and bonds with those around you.

Your time in the saddle as Wolffe has proven that all those characteristics come naturally to you. I'm sure that carries over into the real world too.

I made the original suggestion to lower overall stats back in the day primarily because back then with those stats players could easily solo events with no need in any sort of teamwork or tactics to wipe out a battalion of droids or eliminate an EJ because every single person had a crazy amount of HP and Armor, could run as fast as the Flash, and jump as high as Jar Jar does now.

Returning to these stats just make the players into one man armies and will have to result in a ton of backend changes from the GM team with NPC and EJ stats and from dev work with overall weapon stats needing to be altered to account for this massive change. It is not worth it. If anything battalion buffs could be increased potentially but that’s all.

You know, I didn't really give much thought to the people with the silly OP weapons at all, you have a point there.

I don't think an extra 200 health would necessarily classify as a "crazy amount" in my book, but I will concede that people who have both max stats and an extra 100 dollars laying around to buy a shotgun that allows them to supersede roleplay and basically ensure the outcome of any event would in fact make this particularly troublesome.

-1 with those stats it takes a whole magazine from a cycler to kill one person, unless youre also changing stats for weapons this essentially nullifies pvp and throws any percentage of realistic combat out the window. The big NT takes 2 shots to kill rather than 1 with those stats, which removes any fear of getting one shot which I believe needs to exist within any game.

GM's will just increase health for NPC's to compensate, so you'll have the average NPC health being 700 or 800 rather than 300. I would do this as well and just start ramping up DRG droids to actually be able to one shot all the time rather than average npc's.

I agree with your GM point, don't necessarily agree with the other, but I respect it.

I'll void this, since I forgot about the "funny haha I have more money than you" weapons.

Suggestion: Return Health and Armor to previously used maximum base caps. From 300 health -> 500 health, from 100 armor -> 200 armor

    Implementation: Value changes.

    Lore: N/A

Attached are a few pictures taken from a while back. I believe personally that the health and armor was sufficient at that time, there were also Regiment based boosts to things like Health, Speed, and Armor that aren't necessary, but something to keep in mind with these pictures.

I personally feel that this would be an easier, rounder number to balance things from than 300, but just figured I'd put this one out here. Curious to see what others think.

@Hudson Hey there, what times are you usually in-game and what character do you play (please include the full name in rank)?

I'm on most days, I usually play 104th ARCL LT Hudson.

Reason for leaving: I have too many responsibilities to deal with right now to worry about meeting a quota I know I'm not going to hit. I have been given an opportunity to be a host for a Virtual Music Fest once a month, so I need to take something out of the rotation to stay sane.

There's also no passion in it anymore, if there is any story to be made, I will make it by myself. I'm tired of seeing tickets die on the left hand side of my screen only to have to do some staff member's job for them. Some of you make some great events, some of you have the energy and passion to put into it and I love it.

This venture showed me my energy for it ran out 3 years ago. I'll stick to writing stories, someone else can put them into action...

@Hudson The push for the name Corellia is not from the Dev team, nor would it cost any time on our end to change, as there isn't anything on our end to change. A cool-looking planet was thrown into the War room. Now, everyone thinks that's the planet we're on. The gas lighting is real for Corellia.

I know that it isn't, if you read my comment, I said that I supported it for those reasons. Sorry for any confusion.

  7. Crazy to see such support for Mimban in the comments, personally, I don't see the resemblance. My earlier support for Corellia was mostly just so the devs don't have to change much, but if I'm being honest, it doesn't look like Corellia at all.

Even Trandosha is a stretch, if anything it looks like Kashyyyk or Dantooine more than any of these.

At least Elevon has the fact that it doesn't exist in Star Wars going for it, I guess.

  8. Hololog Entry 0.02

It's the dead of night. "Linx" and "Minx" are sound asleep, so I've snuck out to the Medbay.

No one is here, the room hums low with the sound of bacta trickling through the dispensers and tanks. I sit down at the entrance and his image appears for a moment.

CT-5012 "Hudson". A clone that instilled confidence in me. Honored me. Built me up to be the soldier I am now. He made the ultimate sacrifice, and I remain. I can still see the helmet he wore flying through the air, the blaster fire tearing through his head...Everything after is a blur.

To honor his sacrifice then, I will make a sacrifice of my own. From out of my pockets, an incendiary grenade. Carefully removing the storage unit from the igniter, I doused the sides of my head. The fuel trickled down my neck and to my arms. Each second I waited with the igniter in hand felt like hours until I finally worked up the courage to light it.

A wave rolled through my body, and pure agony consumed my head and arms. I screamed out in the empty medbay before the sprinkler system activated. Alarms sounded and I heard the pound of footsteps outside the door as I crashed to the floor. The last thing I remember is "Linx" and "Minx" over me with terror in their eyes.

    Then, everything went black.
