Summary of the story: Pre Viszla had met up with some Sith alchemists, who where mere students in the art, in which case they got full of themselves, and turned all of the men in pre viszlas mobile base into a reproducing  mass spreading virus upon the ship.

What was the result of the event?: Republic Cured them, and fought sith near the beginning
