Freck
As my LOA ends today, I thought I would come back to the server making Naval more approachable for all. So here I ask... What do YOU want to see from Naval? So far we have done one thing. - The tryouts are now easier. What do you as a community want? (Within reason) And how are we doing as of right now as a fleet? 1 Report British Link to comment
Weevil
I think naval is doing good at the minute there is a couple of things that i would like to improve. Eg: -More trainings (maybe even having a Mandatory amount per day). - Activity is starting to slip i know people have IRL issues like school etc... but the activity is slipping. Our numbers have nearly doubled in only a week so it shows that we are at least trying to revive naval. As of now im happy were naval is tryouts have been made easier we have revived one of the branches (Medical), but as a Manager i think Qm and Eng still needs some help to make them as popular as they can be. `Weevil Edited February 15, 2018 by Weevil Link to comment

I want to see more role play, so bunk inspections, weapons inspections, medical check ups, hangar inspections, anything really. secondly, i would like to see more training to help people understand the ship more. With the low numbers of QM bunk inspections cannot be as frequent as they could be, however with the new tryouts, we should be able to get more QM - Im sure I can ask my Naval to do ship tours or training of whst different parts of the ship do! Thank you for your feedback 1 Report British Link to comment

With the bunk/hanger/weapon inspections i think i might start doing them Once or twice a week (tell me what you think) With the trainings i agree some people are completely clueless on what the branches do. -Engineer training, i see it now and again its starting to pick up the pace - Qm Training, As the manager i try and do at least 2-3 a day. my other Qm's might be trying if they are not please let me know -Atc training, This is one of the most common trainings i see it's hosted daily by a different amount of people. -Medical training, This one right now is once every blue moon. i see trainings being hosted more by rm than naval thats an issue and it needs to be adressed 1 Report Link to comment
Snadvich
I want less assholy Navals and more Navals who use battalions to there full ability. Have a broken turbo laser? Send in GM. Need to escort a VIP to his ship? Send DU and CG. Also keep your ears open to all ideas from officers and Enlisted. Passing Tryouts and being a naval does not make your ideas better then Regular officers and troopers 2 Report Link to comment

Being able to host bunk inspections, hangar inspections and etc. i feel like with the more numbers you all are getting now, I highly suggest advertising the lower active branches of naval. I also believe that you should strive to roleplay, naval, in all honesty, is a roleplay only position. Not likely for a naval to be in a combat situation compared to a clone. So having as much roleplay as possible is only a good thing. Right now i want to make Qm as interesting as possible (If you have any ideas pm me) but its gonna take a while till we fully get Qm to the level of Flight ops. As you said advertising lower active branches for the past day or two Flight ops is no longer a choice people can chose we decided it was getting to bug and we needed to control it. Link to comment

If you see any naval being jerks PM me. I have been making it known that just because they wear a suit doesn't mean they are able to disrespect. There was an incident where naval decided to be dicks to CG and I froze their promotion cooldown. This is something I will be working on British Link to comment

Nyon
I would like to see more naval just generally walking around the ship and showing their faces, but also acting seriously while doing so. Should bring the naval reputation up quite a bit. 2 Report Link to comment

The more roaming naval means an increase of popularity I hardly see any naval except during events where DU gets called to the fourth floor so I think this is a big step in getting the wall that's been built up between naval and the troops broke down. Another thing I would suggest is for Naval to take more active command during events and in so doing cutting down on the chaos that ensues in most events.(re-deploy battalions to areas with heavy resistance / key areas to protect other than Generic Battlestations at Defcons (3,2) ) I would also like Naval to start organizing sims, ie setting battalions to train against each other in the CSR or I recently added Defcon Drills to DU's training document, Naval could call a Defcom drill and time how long it takes for each battalion/Unit/outfit to report Battlestations manned and ready? Joint maneuvers in the hanger bay aswell would give more people to do things in the down time between events. tl:dr I want Naval to (hopefully) cut most of the downtime between events on the server by spearheading activities that engage everyone as much as possible! Most I can do Is ask for status, which many don’t reply to sadly. This could be just me but that’s my view of that situation. I would love to have a more commanding role of events as well I do agree with the fact that Naval does seem to be locked in a box most of the time preventing them from directly interacting in the battles or situations and I think that's something that needs to change. This would not apply during sims but naval were only known to carry pistols and maybe the DC-15s. I’m only asking this to make the event helper’s job easier. 1 Report Link to comment
