Event Name: Umbaran Peace Part 2 (Final part will be after staff meeting)

Summary of the story: This was the second part of our 3 part event plan, pretty much the CIS caught wind of the republics plans to be at peace with the Umbarans and help them out, they boarded our ship with their senator and tried to scare us into dropping the peace and not getting in their way of controlling all of Umbara. They tried but failed and that resulted in them being told they were going to be arrested and they just shot up the ship. All the escort droids were destroyed but the Senator made it off into his ship and warped into hyperspace.

What was the result of the event?: The republic won like always, the senator made it away possibly alerting the rest of the CIS about our plans.

Was this more of a role play oriented or "shoot em up" oriented event: Almost all of it was RP like the first event, but the final part of Shoot em up.

-1, Did not seem to be a lot of action on the 1st floor and seemed to be over a bit quickly. If the event server event is good, then you will get a +1 on that.

These are the things that make GM's mad, everyone complains about how we always do Shoot Em Up's but when we have the AUDACITY to do an RP oriented event you all get pissy. Seriously, we try our hardest to make it so not every event contains us just shooting the shit out of droids. Like come on, we are trying to branch off from this shit but I guess you can not be satisfied.

You are free to do any event you what. If you want to do a more lore driven event, you can but it will be boring for the battalions that are not involved in the RP. If I was involved, then I might have given it a +1. As for people getting "pissy", you will never please everyone all the time and if people don't like an event, they have every right to criticize it.
