Event Name - Synergy EU "The Prisoners" (Siege Regimental)

Description - The Siege regiment are sent on there first deployment to siege a highley defended CIS outpost where numerous CIS Leadership members have been spotted, wacky events ensue. 


Note: Sorry about the lag from the GM perspective we did our best with this we load tested it a day before and removed laggy props / optimized accordingly so not much we could have done ahead of time we have taken notes though and are prepared to act on the issues we saw. Hope you still enjoyed

I think the event was a really cool one and the Dupe was one of the dopest ones I've seen in a while.  At this point there's not much you can do about the wild lag that occurred.  At one point, my guns  models disappeared or something and I really can't explain it lol. The story was cool and I really enjoyed the concept.  The crash definitely took a lot away from the mission as if it didn't occur then it would've just kept right along and stayed on point. 

The event fit the bill exactly for Siege.  We had to infiltrate a large and heavily controlled CIS Citadel and many of us had lag issues but I still had a fun time overall.  Lotta respect for the work that was put into the Dupe without a doubt.

While you guys did put a lot of effort into the event, I wasn't able to enjoy it due to the performance issues caused by the large dupes used.

These type of dupes are probably only viable for 1 battalion deployments not something full regiments should go on.

While you guys did put a lot of effort into the event, I was able to enjoy it a lot actually. As one of the giga chads that didn't lag or crash once, it was pretty good.

These type of dupes are probably only viable for 1 battalion deployments unless everyone isn't playing on their MacBook.

(Epic gag, all honesty, deployment was good, performance seemed out of your hands in some parts. All in all, I had fun with the boys)

Dupe was one of the best I have built in a while (lots of effort)
Story was a well structured one that has hinted at alot for the EU *WATCH THE SCENE I LINKED*

 

But overall dropped the ball performance wise which automatically brings it down to a 7/10.

sorry about the late reply. But I left about 3/4(I’m guessing here) into the event because I was lagging so hard it wasn’t even playable and I had to wake up at 5 am. 
we’ve already talked about the dupe so I’ll reiterate briefly. Incredible. The usage of space. Just phenomenal. Get with me some time today so I can see the ship portion I never got to see that finished and you know I love that hidden inside thing. 
story wise. The progression of events felt meaningful and had a purpose. Most events with a go here then here then here don’t flow well into a why, this one had reasons on how one place unlocked the next place unlocked the next place. It was a siege event. We seized multiple locations and held them each for a short time while figuring out our next play until the final mega base. 
performance. So I don’t know what steps went into improving performance so I’ll just toss out some ideas. Seems like this whole event was one big dupe. I would have split it into 4 sections. Terrain. Base 1. Mega base. Air ship. This way as we progress you can spawn and despair stuff. All the stuff inside and around the mega base didn’t need to be spawned in while we where driving bas 1. Same with the air ship. Additionally once we leave the airship despawn that dupe. Now this doesn’t allow for back tracking which can be fun at times, but for performance sake I think needs to happen. 
honestly I want to do this event again. I felt so cucked to not get to enjoy the end. Some performance improvements and I think it’s possible to be a top of the top level banger.
