For me it fits the quota of " huge forest map and a cliff map base with in the middle of the moutain a big base with a med room and a hanger etc "

Regardless of however much someone spends on making a map for gmod. Playing on a server where its constantly available for you to connect and logging on every day for months on end to see the same thing every day will eventually become stale or not as entertaining as the first time being on that new map. That’s just how it is. It’s not that people don’t respect the founders and the money they spent on the map but rather it’s just bound to happen eventually that people get bored of the same thing. Think of it like your favorite candy. If you ate your favorite candy 10 times every day for a year, you would grow over time less interested in eating that candy. 
 

people need to grow out of this toxic mindset that it’s ok to just repeat what’s good forever. Changes, even small ones for short periods spark large amounts of interest and growth.
