Star Wars: Republic Commando's, The map

Suggestion: Add a new Star Wars Republic Commando game inspired geo map.

Implementation: Add it to event server

Lore: Geo was the sight of many battles during the clone wars. Republic commando's also exist.

So this map is BIG. File size big. 250 MB, thats 4 times the size of anaxes (but still not as big as corusant below). Yeah. So while it is cool if the only use for this map is to recreate one level from one game don't +1 this. Explore it a bit and see how you like it before just saying +1. I have a good PC but people without good pc's might have some issues so i'd like to hear from those of you without good pc's!

+1, I have a pretty shit PC and it worked great; my only worry is that there isn't aa huge amount of space in most of the sections, so it would be kind of hard to have good large scalele deployments on it.

 

That being said, I played this mission literally today-- and that map really gives me hugely good vibes. I'm always down for more maps, especially awesome ones.

SIDENOTE: While this is a sick fuckin' map, due to its size, if we had the option of either acquiring it or 2 different maps, I would probably support the two, for variety's sake. That's most of what we're missing on our maps at the moment.

But I will admit I have no clue how the map accepting/denying process works
 

also the map has doors that only open if two people work together to open them. That's awesome.

I was under the impression our server had a set draw distance? Would that potentially affect the loading at all to make it easier for lower end PCs?

This map would do well for simple squad/ single Batt deployments, which in most case, can be more fun than large scale deployments. +1

After looking back, I'm going to give this a really tentative +1. It doesn't really do much for our variety of maps, although it's high quality. I'm open to it, but we might have to have some more conversation about it in the team.
