Watch hand

So i be wearing my watch today and my brother since he came home for a bit asked me why i wear my watch on my dominant hand being my right hand and not on my non-dominant hand and i said cause its more comfortable to wear it and now im wondering if anyone else does this

I've always worn watches on my non-dominant hand and I was told once that this is to protect your watch from being knocked around as much as you usually do things with your dominant hand (obviously) but at the end of the day, as with everything, it is ultimately a comfort thing- particularly if it's a cheaper watch

I do my watch on my non-dominant (left) hand mainly because of the blindness in my right eye. Less head turning to look at the watch.

I've only ever seen watches on left hands in professional settings.
