2/10 I had fun for the first half... then we went to Anaxes

This event was just overall a bad time for so many people.

The Event was waaaay too long for the overall story and quality of the event.

Event Jobs heavily abused their force abilities to Force Leap around the map and use other abilities like Grievous cloaking in front of several troopers.

The event was prolonged even more after we transported Grievous to the Anaxes Fleet and he quote on quote “escapes” and decides “Yeah how about I go back to the base that fucked me up” That was completely out of character for Grievous who was notably known for running away all the time.

The story was just all over the place. Grievous, Maul, and Savage Opress all on Geonosis then after 30 minutes of leaping around Geonosis they decide to randomly head to Anaxes and do the exact same shit there.

There were multiple instances of high health event jobs getting their health set mid fight.

You grounded all LAATs on Geonosis due to “wind conditions” but gave no real reason as to why you didn’t want them allowed. I mean why spawn them in the first place?

Overall this may be the worst event I have participated in in a very long time. Story was whack, gameplay was whack, rules were whack, this event was whack. I mean no offense by any of this and I hope you listen to the criticism that myself and others give you and I genuinely hope you do improve because I do believe you can make some good events. This might’ve just been a bad day for you or something but you can do better than this.

A few tips as well:

Try to make the story and characters you use to make sense to the players. Grievous, Maul, and Savage should not be working together and most of all they shouldn’t have randomly traveled to Anaxes after losing on Geonosis. Keep it to one planet or at least make up a good reason for them to goto Anaxes like for example: While on Geonosis the Republic gathered very important CIS intelligence that they needed to get rid of, etc.

Regulate your event jobs. Make sure they don’t abuse force abilities and use abilitites they shouldn’t. Make sure you are following the health and armor guidelines and stick to what you give them at the start. They should never have their health set in the middle of a fight all because you want to keep the event going. Length is not important, quality is.

Let the players create their own roleplay and work off of that. We transported Grievous to the fleet to get rid of him only for him to return not even 10 minutes later. That made all of the player’s efforts to win pointless.

-Grevious cant Cloak

-Grevious was dragged from detainment off of a venator with no RP

-Sith After Sith show up to rescue one another constantly

-Grevious only purpose on base was to turn the power off

3/10 its by no means a 0 and those you say it are entitled to their opinion but are also stinky it was your first event as a GM and you are still learning things like if an event goes on this long you can have the lore characters transported away and escape off screen if the need be

2/10, dragged on way to long. Grievous should not have come back after being escorted off base the first time. Gives the impression that this event was nothing more than a EXP farm for the event jobs. Other reasons mentioned above ^

2/10 - I guess it was alright in the beginning, but everything after that was handled EXTREMELY poorly. I don't know why you decided to continue the event, but there were multiple rules being broken and so many things that just didn't make sense. Use this as a learning experience to better future events.

One thing that will help - please, for the love of god, get more event jobs if you want to do an event of this scale.

I would say 5/10, the story was dragged on with grevious. We escorted him to a venator, then he decided to come back and cloak (which he CANNOT) in front of several trooper, which is breaking a rule, section H rule 11: You can not cloak in front of opposition forces if done will be considered Fail RP and will result in an AOS. I could have AOS him but since I didn't see it happening in front of me, I didn't care.

0/10, honestly one of the worst events I've ever took part of.
The actually event itself had no structure, storyline, RP or planning. You just got some people to go on EJ jobs and mass kill everyone with no incentive or enjoyment behind it. Maul, Opress and Grievous were force leaping around Geonosis for literally 9 minutes straight non stop;

Grievous constantly broke rules (Bringing ooc talks IC, ruining immersion. Using a cloak as Grievous then breaking the cloak rule by cloaking infront of people). Grievous was also taken prisoner, escorted to a LAAT and dropped off at Aurek because we couldn't actually take him to a venator, he then returns 3 minutes later and just starts to kill everyone again.
You were constantly increasing the EJs HP everytime they got a bit low (up to like 15k HP) DURING COMBAT.

Maybe you had a clear plan, but it completely fell apart. Try keep a clean storyline, simple planning and stay in control of your EJs. This will benefit your future events, but this one was in shambles.

braking server rules
targeting  clones and padding stats
multiple times he just kept setting his health high mid combat
running away from Jedi and focusing clones
cloaking as Grievous
no real story to event

Got to the point where we took grievous apart took him off planet to a venator and he just comes back fully assembled less than 5 minutes

Event ended with Maul in the IR chair and grievous just dead next to him

Sorry if you guys had a really bad time it was my fault, I shouldn't have carried this event on for this long. The Sith thing was a big issue it was originally supposed to only be grievous but then I pushed it to far with savage and Maul. probably should have done /me escapes or done an off cam escape. I will take this as a learning experience and won't let it happen again in the future.

For sure a learning moment for you. It seems your other events have done pretty well in the past. You are a new GM and mistakes are bound to be made at some point. Just learn from them and keep them in mind for the future. Don't let this one event bring you down!

This is all we ask from you. Don't take any of this personally or beat yourself up about it. I'm sure you will learn from this and I can't wait to see your events improve in the future. GM can be a little stressful at times so thank you for even attempting to provide the server with entertainment.

TBH just look a old events that went well and try and remake them as your own. It USUALLY works out. Either that or stick to encounters for a while so you can get atleast consistent 7/10s

Your event jobs kept breaking character
Grievous every time he was about to get caught or killed he just set his health back to 2k
Grievous was also from what it seemed cloaking which doesn't make sense as he doesn't and wouldn't have a cloak. So you used a force power which Grievous isn't allowed to use. And he was cloaking in pursuit which is against server rules....He also was adrenalin glitching from my point of view. Then once he was captured you sent two other lore characters to get him which then got detained. Normally you shouldn't have top lore characters get detained. Once Grievous was sent to a Venator he somehow returned with his sabers and limbs even tho they were removed? The logic, RP and story of this event was extremely bland and hard to follow for me. The event carried too long for no clear reason. The only reason I'm not giving this a 0 is because I was only apart of the event half way in and you tried to entertain and bring some fun to the server.

So some tips for you are to
A. Control your EJ's and make sure they follow the right rules when they have a saber
B. Flesh out and plan out your event so it doesnt go stale and drag on
C. Have a good story in place and make sure it sounds good with the rest of your event team
D. Make sure the RP makes sense and logically and if you lose a event job due to death or being sent to prison then accept those RP consequences for the rest of your event.

Don't take the rating personally take it as criticism.

For far too long (perhaps legitimately an entire hour) event jobs were force leaping away from the Jedi & Clones while also stopping to reset their health. From my math, and this could be off- these event jobs took over 50k damage throughout the course of the event and only at the very end did Grievous die, and he only died because he got himself stuck in a corner.

At one point we managed to detain Grievous and Yoda used the Force to remove his arms and legs. I then melted his arms and legs in the IR room. We then transported his torso to a Venator. This should have been the end of the event for Grievous. There is no way that makes sense that Grievous comes back from that within the span of one battle. Not to mention, once he returned he began using the Force Cloak ability, which is something that Grievous shouldn't do.

Overall, this event had a pretty good start- and you did some things well. I thank you for the attempt and wish you the best of luck in the future, especially since you've commented that you'll be taking in our feedback. Should you need any help with your events in the future, any GMO or GMM can help you if you ask!
