Mic Issues

I've been having a issue with my mic on Gmod lately where my mic isn't being picked up unless I am neigh shouting at it. My MIc works fine on all my other apps and I am not sure what I can really do to fix it I've googled the issue not found any fix thus far so If anyone else has had the same issue and has a fix

Go into your steam settings and set the voice activity threshold to a lower frequency so your voice will get picked up easier. A downside to that is that everything will get picked up lol
