Event Name: Maddox's Betrayal

Summary of the story: Maddox, who has at this point joined with the CIS, started a full scale assault of Annaxes starting with an EMP of his own design. Following the EMP the CIS sent ships and ground forces but were repelled by the Republic and the CIS retreated to Granite. After pushing through large amounts of CIS forces they finally confronted Maddox inside the facility of Granite. Maddox claimed that he would rather the CIS win so that his brothers could live free and that killing a few to save many was worth it. He detonated the bomb destroying himself and Granite but due to his wiring he failed to yield the explosive oomph he wanted.

What was the result of the event?: Maddox and his revolution was ended.
