Summary of the story: CIS Forces overtook a republic outpost on Kashykkk and it was Recons mission to infiltrate and find out what was going on by hacking into the consoles and 

What was the result of the event?: They Triggered the Alarm but were able to recover Republic Victory. 

Was this more of a role play oriented or "shoot em up" oriented event: Shoot Them Up if I had to pick but it was more of a recon mission just scouting out the enemy base.

8/10 Good amount of Passive RP in the event. Good concept and execution
