    I can't believe that in your mind you actually had the ability to think of something like this to say.

    Also "The guy we shouldnt know" is not the right way to think about devs, These people that you say you shouldnt know pour hundreds of hours developing maps and other functions for you to treat them like this. So maybe on this post you couldve kept your opinions to yourself. 

    We are asking your opinions, It's not another ongoing issue it was just an opinion base questionare on the forums from part of the development team.

    Less abilities, hilts, stances, crystals: Having to port over tons of these to make this not a massive downgrade over the current system would be a massive pain in the ass. And it's not like this could just be skipped, as people would need to retain access to the items that they purchased with lots of money on the store.

    No pre-made sabers: There is no way to give someone a pre-made saber (such as Trial Master) to be used for trials and such this is not good. You'd have to give people items that you can't really be sure that they got rid of after, since it'd just stay in their inventory permanently unless you verify that they drop it then remover tool it. It'd be really easy for people to get away with staff abuse where they give someone free hilts or crystals.

    No item spawning for crystals or hilts: There would need to be a system developed to provide crystal and hilt drops unless you just want to provide all of the basic ones by default, which would be kind of lame for youngling initiation.

    Incompatible: There are reports of this addon not working with deflections against some different NPC weapons which would need to be tested against every NPC weapon we currently have, and with how new it is I'm sure there are plenty of other bugs regarding compatibility with Synergy's addons. 

    Permissions issues: There's also the fact that this requires permissions to spawn SWEPs to be given in order to be able to create a saber from your items, which would have to be tested with Synergy's restriction system to see if it would be possible to only give access to spawn these sabers.

    Lack of progression: There is also no real progression system implemented via skill points, where people could get more abilities as they go. This would have to be custom developed. 

    There is no saving of the inventory when a user disconnects: I created a local server via the Dedicated Server script, joined, gave myself stuff, and when I reconnected all of it was gone. A way to keep these items would have to be custom developed.

    You do not spawn with the saber equipped: You have to enter the menu each time to equip it. This might be able to be worked around with a command though. There is also no current way to make it so you couldn't just have clones giving themselves their saber to mess around with while on their clone life, the menu is always there.

    This could be cool in the future with significant development, but in these early stages of the addon it really is by no means comparable to the depth that WiltOS sabers offers.

    When i check the prestige menu i see that i have the buffs selected, but it also says im prestige 0

    also follow up question, If they fix the prestige health. Will it transfer to other characters? Having a health buff was very nice for BH and clone. 

    The whole point of having different characters is so you treat your characters like they are different lives of yours. Meaning we do not want any of the Jedi buffs to transfer to your BH or Clone.

     

    Now we are aware of this issue and im curently close to fixing. Sorry again for the wait. It is different testing the update with 5 people than with 90+ people.

    I think the issue is here is that it might be an item we just dont have in the server any longer

    I'm gonna be honest I don't see how Accuracy and Reload speed could work long super well. Accuracy and reload speed would just be really really broken. Could you imagine just LMG's and Assault rifles pinpointing people from across the map at full auto. The whole point of having the spread of weapons being what they are now is that each weapon has its own purpose. You don't use your dc-15a to snipe people, you use the 15X, they don't step on each other's toes that much, but this could end up changing that to the point where high fire rate guns are king over all.

    More ammo seems like an alright one, but also just kinda buy more ammo  in the f4 menu. Kind feels like the same thing to me.

    Vendor Discount, i mean, good luck. I don't see this happening.

    Don't get me wrong, I think it would be cool to have more unique skills and stuff, but I don't think buying them is the answer. I would personally thing a whole new system for health/armor/movespeed/jump height be implemented. One based not on putting credits into it, but leveling up more like the jedi system. You get levels for killing people, and can invest those into your class to give you more things specific to your class, kinda like jedi. I'm sure this is even more impossible then your idea tho.

    If you're just looking for more things to buy in general, a datapad could be a cool addition, or some basic sweps. I just don't want to get to the point where people are super strong feeling, because all that will do is make GM's spawn more/stronger droids to compensate, which makes  people want themselves to be buffed, its a bad cycle.

    ^ See i agree with conrad, I mean I would love too add new stuff but I just dont see it affecting gameplay a lot more and giving people more advantages with a higher reload speed and the other ones.

  6. I put the Y-wings on however they wobbled and honestly at the time it was not in my interest to fix them because we had a lot on our plate development wise and still do. However it looks like this gained quite a lot of traction so if it is needed we will add them.

    They are just heavy on the client because of all the particle effects and when you have 80+ players they start creating quite a bit of lag.
